Jakob is the protagonist of the animated musical "The Good Samaritan". As an extremely ambitious, wealthy young man, he firmly believes that everyone gets exactly what they deserve. In his eyes, a poor man is just as responsible for his condition as a rich man. But despite his tough outlook on life, he feels there is something missing in his heart to be truly happy. So he spares no effort to get help from anyone who, in his eyes, is even richer and more blessed than himself.
